The only cleaners I go to. Please hold on to your receipt count your pieces before and after. They almost gave me someone else stuff and on one a occasion my stuff was split into 2 tickets without me knowing and it took some time for them to find my stuff
I took in a beautiful blanket that my mom knitted me- one of my favorite items. I took back a ruined, felted, baby blanket-size item that had clearly been put through the wash instead of dry cleaned. When I got home and opened the package I cried- my sentimental gift was actually destroyed. I didn't think I needed to specify dry clean when taking a clearly fragile item into a drycleaners. Make sure if you DONT want your items in the washing machine to ask them to please NOT do that. (Maybe they should call their business a laundramat instead of a dry cleaner if they throw items into the wash versus actually dry cleaning them??) Be cautious with your treasured items! Never taking an item to this incompetant establishment again.
You get "what you pay for". Stains aren't removed unless pointed out specifically. Great deal for men's shirts.
This is a lesson in how to lose a loyal 25 year customer.Today I noticed my ticket showed no starch on the 3 shirts I dropped off on Wednesday. I stopped today to be sure I was getting starch. Owner insisted shirts were finished and with no starch. I explained several times I was never asked how much starch I wanted. She retrieved my shirts and showed me them with no starch. I told her she could redo them with starch, as I was in no hurry to have them back. She just stared at me. I gave up and just paid for them. But... they have some kind of silly policy of not accepting credit cards on orders less than $5.00(?). As an ex-banker, I am not aware of the merchant charge being affected by a less than $5.00 charge.Bottom line.... they have lost my household account.
Over the past 5 years I've gone from dry cleaning that one college polo to 20 dress shirts a month, and never had a bad experience. Shirts look good, pricing is cheap, and hemming/button repair done well in house. I've even forgot some shirts here for 60 days and they were really understanding/nice about the late fee since I had never done that before.Friendly staff, good quality. I've tried a few other cleaners closer to mayfair but they seem to go up in price and down customer service the closer you get to mayfaire.
