I was going to EmergOrtho for 5 months to resolve meniscus tear pain (appts were so hard to get that in 5 months I had only received 1 cortisone shot and 1 gel injection).Without any relief, I switched to Dr Bowling, who performed microscopic surgery to repair the tear on my left knee with excellent results. Recovery was less painful than the meniscus tear pain and with PT I was walking normal in 3 weeks without pain! The 2 incisions were minor and are healing well. Very happy with Dr Bowling and his staff! Very glad I switched doctors.

Dr be identified the problem and it wasn't at all what I thought it was. He had sent me to a spine specialist to further evaluate the source of the problem. I couldn't have asked for a better orthopedist. He is very kind and understanding. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and aquaintences.
Ive been a patient of Dr Jack Bowling since 2003. He has done all my surgeries. I would never want to go any where else. He cares deeply about his patients and takes their care personally. He has excellent bed side manner and if he does not know something he will tell you and then he will find the answer. Cape Fear Hospital reflects Dr Bowlings care and willingness to work hard for their patients. All the times I was there we waited for that one bad nurse! Every hospital has them.
