Dr. Bhat was my mothers physician for over 25 years and checked her blood pressure on the right side only even though she had undiagnosed uncontrolled high blood pressure. The result was that he didnt realize her renal arteries were getting severely clogged. She now has only 1 functioning kidney with a renal stent and stage III kidney disease. Always!Always! Have any doctor you see check both arms for blood pressure. Her true blood pressure reading is on her left side! Unfortunately it took a couple of emergency room visits for us to find that out.
Dr. Bhat is caring, dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate with his patients and his profession. He is generous with his time, a good listener and always available. It is comforting to know that a doctor like this still exists.
