John Canoutas was 100% the reason I bought a car yesterday. He was honest, personable, and genuinely took my needs as a customer into consideration. As a young woman purchasing her first car on her own I was terrified. I had already been hounded by other dealerships so I figured this experience would be the same. Im so glad I was wrong! Once I approached his desk he asked how he could help me and after a handshake he said feel free to look around and let me know if youd like the keys to something; that he wouldnt be over my shoulder. This alone allowed me to let my guard down a little. I hadnt gone there with the intentions of buying a car, but after seeing a 2017 Honda Accord Sport for a crazy good price, I decided to talk to him about pricing. I told him my monthly goals and I was shocked he was able to work with me enough to hit it. After driving off the lot I noticed I didnt have floor mats, he informed me that he didnt think that particular car came with them but he is going to track some down for me in a few days. Oh and did I mention he followed me all the way to the gas station to fill up my car so I would have a full tank? The best auto dealer in Wilmington in my opinion. We have purchased our last five cars from there. Great value on low mileage and some new cars. No salesman following you trying to get you to buy a car. They let me keep the car overnight if I wished, no pressure. I buy a new car every five years and I get a very fair trade in value.
