We took the tour today and it was very informative. Loved the home and info about the Latimers. Will definitely take my kids back for a second tour. It's a lot to take in during the hour!
What a wonderful experience. So nice to see a house that was actually furnished with some of the original furnishing and apparel. The lady that took us on the tour showed us so many things. To see a "mourning pin" with actual hair in it and the wreath with real hair also was over the top. Also, this was the 1st time that we saw the slave quarters that had a brick house instead of wood. The house is in immaculate condition. It's a tour that you shouldn't miss. Amazing!
