First allow me to say my 1 rating has nothing to do with the bartender who served me but EVERYTHING to do with how TERRIBLE the food was and the Manager. I ordered the sampler. It appeared to look good. (We all know how looks can be oh so deceiving) However from my 1st bite it was SO bland and just not tasty. Way to much beans on the nachos, HOT Pico (Should be served cold), and raw peppers and onions inside my tortilla. I waited until AFTER I PAID to say something so they wouldn't just think I was after free food. Jason - the manager was sent to me to hear my complaint. I started of with a compliment on how great the employee at the bar was. 1-10 he gets a 9. My food gets a barely a 2 because the chimichangas were good but nothing else. When ever I told him this he NEVER apologized or offered to some how fix it considering I already paid. He simply told me that his kitchen followed all specs of On the Border and it was corporates fault that he couldn't have good food. At this point I told him to have a good day and I'll reach out to corporate for him. I did. I spoke with Jeff. He was really nice and understanding of the situation. He confirmed with I already knew that corporate was NOT preventing Jason from being a good manager and running a good tasty kitchen. So beware. Jeff assured me he would get this looked at, however for right now I would just STAY CLEAR and save your money.
Service was great! Waiter had great personality. Foos was good, as always. I had a grilled chicken border bowl and it was delicious. Just right if you don't have a big appetite.
The ambiance of this restaurant from all the others I went to was so wonderful! The wait staff was so pleasant. I always love to get a Mango Margarita from On The Border and I have never been disappointed, regardless of location!
The service at this restaurant was good. However, the food was overly salted and the salsa was extremely spicy. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant because there are far better Mexican restaurants that are cheaper in price. My waitress was very kind, the food not so much.
Food is pretty good but the service...top notch! We came in 30 minutes before closing (which I didn't realize at the time) to grab a quick bite because I was sooo sick and all I was craving was fajitas. The server never let it be known they were closing. She gave the same great service expected at 6pm and did it with a smile and some extra chips to boot. I wish I could remember her name but if the mangers read this, she had brown hair in a braid with cute freckles and the sweetest smile. You have a gem!
