Less than helpful. Poor selection. Went in to ask about shortening a tanzanite bracelet and was told to send it back. Also brought a genuine Tissot watch for battery replacement and the owner referred to it as one of those Tissot knockoffs, and wouldnt replace the battery. I cant wait to give someone else my business. Disappointing experience that does not bode well for a local business. Update: The elderly man that I dealt with was not the owner, but the jewelry store was to the right of Old Navy on College Road, in the same shopping center.
This has always been the jewelry store my family has gone to. The staff is great and on numerous occasions they have helped me with a watch band for my mother that needed resizing. I am so glad to hear that they have reopened. I will be making my first stop there this weekend since hurricane Florence. I hope the looters have been caught because this business did not deserve the treatment from these people that they received. Sometimes we all get knocked down but the strong always prevail. Thank you for all of the years of great service and dedication.
Visited half a dozen jewelry stores in the Wilmington area looking for an engagement ring for my now fiancee. Snowden's was by far the best one I worked with and the most up front. Snowden was able to give me a superior deal on the diamond and band as compared to other stores due to the small family owned nature of the shop (they don't have 3+ sales people who have the sole purpose of trying to sell you the most expensive thing they can). Snowden also seems to be genuinely interested in giving the best possible price he can and isn't looking to take every penny he can from his customers. The employees were friendly and not pushy at all which is contrary to my experience at other jewelry shops in town that were trying to get me to buy a diamond that day even after informing them that I wasn't going to be purchasing that day. And even more important than the superior pricing and customer service, my fiancee loves the ring and is constantly receiving compliments on its quality and beauty. I told her about my experience at Snowden's and we plan on returning when we are picking out our wedding bands.
Professional, courteous, and fast service. Great job repairing my watch. They also have a convenient location and hours. My family and I will certainly come back for future watch repairs and jewelry purchases.
Not the best place to buy jewelry. I went in yesterday to buy my wife a wedding present and I found a necklace that she would love. I wanted to buy it, but the woman who greeted me when I walked in was nowhere to be found, and neither was anyone else. I tried multiple attempts to grab the attention of someone walking around in the back of the store to no avail. Sadly, I gave up after 10 minutes of waiting around and left to go to another store.
