My soon to be husband (Brian) and I can't recommend Spectrum, and specifically Paul Locklear, enough to anyone looking to do something sentimental, creative and truly special with any family heirlooms. We went to several jewelers in the area before we immediately felt comfortable with Paul and found that Spectrum had the capability to do what other jewelers said they could not, and for an extremely fair price (Paul was very understanding of our budget and our vision). My grandmother passed along my great-grandmother's dinner ring to Brian before we were engaged which contained my great-grandmother's engagement diamond, an emerald she was given by my great-grandfather when they lived in Colombia, and two small diamonds, all with their own stories and sentimental value. Brian had the diamond set in a simple rose gold band which he proposed to me with, and saved the other stones for me for a later time. Now that our wedding is approaching next month, we went to Spectrum to have the emerald turned into a pendant on a rose gold chain for me to wear on my wedding day, and the two small diamonds turned into necklaces for my two nieces (flower girls) to pass on to the next generation. These three necklaces came out absolutely STUNNING and better than we imagined. They took my breath away when we went to pick them up. This will be such an amazing surprise for my grandmother on my wedding day - she doesn't know I'll be wearing the emerald yet or that my nieces will have a little piece of her mother with them always now too! Thank you Paul for all your help and for making this such a special experience. We can't wait to pass along these precious pieces to generations to come.**Updating today to include some of our wedding pictures with my grandparents, my flower girls, and of course, the emerald necklace!!
