Alan Perry does so much right, it's hard to get it all in in one review. The jewelry of course is beautiful, but it is the customer experience that sets him apart from everyone else. Both my husband and I had the most stress-free experience when choosing my engagement ring and our wedding bands. And I had so much fun customizing my ring, too! So I have a one of a kind! They also have a wonderful wish list that they keep forever, so you can add to it at any point in your life. They also clean your jewelry any time you pop in at no charge. You can tell the staff loves working there by the way they treat their customers. And Alan Perry is extremely philanthropic. He donates his time as well as thousands of dollars in jewelry and $$ to so many non-profits every year. Hands down when you think of jewelry, there is only one place you need to go in Wilmington.
I had a great experience looking at different rings and finding the one I wanted. Brigitte was SUPER helpful and helped make a wish list for my boyfriend and texted/met with him as well. She considered our budget, researched more options, and helped us find something gorgeous and perfect for is. At one point I thought I found a ring less expensive online, but without being able to see it in person, I wasn't so sure. After my experience at the store, I decided that I would like the personal care and warranty I would be getting by buying locally instead. I'm really glad I chose Perry's. Thank you Brigitte!!

Very well established store. I recently purchased an engagement ring for my now fiancee. I did not end up going with this store. I have to hand it to them, they are very friendly and great salespeople. I'm not one to have the wool pulled over my eyes though. My first thought upon walking into the store was that it was HUGE. They clearly have a lot of overhead and lots of employees. This means that you will be able to find the same quality diamond/ring at another store for a much cheaper price. In fact I was able to purchase a better diamond (in my opinion and in regards to the 4Cs) for about 20% less at a different store in town. Also, they seemed much more interested in me after I told them my budget. Suddenly multiple salespeople were helping me instead of just one. If you are looking for great customer service, worth checking out. If you are looking for the best price on a diamond in town, definitely not the right place to look. I think they do fairly good custom work as well but as I was not in the market for such an item I cannot speak to that.
I highly recommend Alyson Smist at Perry's Emporium. She takes the time to listen to what you want and also what your budget is! My husband and I have worked with her on multiple occasions over the last 7 years and just couldn't ask for better customer service.
