Usually everyone is so nice and helpful, but today no one wanted to help us.... what a ahame....
1st, 1star is too much. The best employee they had left about a year ago so the service is horrible. If you want to pick up your furniture you purchased instead of paying $100 for delivery you have to drive to whiteville, nc. As soon as they are paid off, I'm never getting anything from there again. Which, when trying to make a payment they closed 8 mins early and when I called and asked why are they closed and I'm outside trying to make a payment they informed me they close 5 mins early every night. Humm, never noticed that before. So I took a picture of the time with the outside closed to show the "5 mins early" was more than that. Guess they dont want me to finish paying them off. Wonder how they stay in business this way.
If there was a negative, I would've chose it. I bought a chest of drawers in June 2018. The drawers are falling apart. I bought insurance for the furniture. In Dec.2018, someone came to my house to fix it. Looked okay for a couple weeks. They're falling apart again. Went to the store today and showed pictures which are worse than the ones I took in Nov 2018. They'll get back to me. I said that I wanted a new one or my $ back. I have all my paper work. I don't see the problem. It's just going to keep falling apart. JUNK
Great place by far I went to the shallotte store and my experience was awful. I figured I would give the Wilmington store a chance and I'm glad I did!!!! This store is very professional and friendly. Tabitha was my sales lady and she was amazing she deserves an award honestly. She did everything she could to assist me and she didn't let me down. She was honest and accurate with the prices and the product. She is very knowledgeable of the furniture in that store. It was a pleasure to be able to work with such a great employee of yours I will definitely be coming back next month to do business with Tabitha again ! Thank you Badcock in Wilmington for the great experience especially my sales lady Tabitha. See y'all next month !!
Appearances are everything when it comes to places like this, so I was a bit shocked to see how tacky & cluttered it looked in such a "high end" furniture store like this one. I'd recommend looking into a professional interior decorator with skills, because the current employee for this isn't doing their job. Other than that, most of the staff seemed friendly.
