It's hard to beat a walk on the ocean at night. But a walk on the Riverfront at night is so beautiful. My Stepfather started the Riverfront Park many years ago, so I grew up around the project and walking up and down Chandler's Wharf. I recently had a chance to return there on a trip with my Mom. We reflected on what we remembered and what time had changed. We cruised through the shopping halls of Chandler's Wharf and had a great time remember days gone by. We visited the gargen shop at the very end of the wharf and had to get a rickshaw to take us home, we were so tired fro eating and shopping! Don't miss Chandler's Wharf if you go to Wilmington. It right in the river, and if you go on Sunday, you can get free parking on the streets. Otherwise, expect to bring quarters for the parking meters! Lots of local history, local artisans and locally caught food. You won't leave disappointed.
Nice little mall. Strange that not all the entrance doors are unlocked during business hours. Looks like good food is prepared here. Good circuit board repair place I use.
Free parking on Sundays is nice. Wish it were more often for locals. Clean and well decorated.
New Vegan store opening soon, bike rentals and pizza. Nice indoor shopping. Not to be missed if your downtown.
Gotta check out the new bike rental shop and try one of the rum cakes from across the hall. Nema restaurant is pretty solid too!!!
