Easily my favorite restaurant in town. The staff is extremely gifted and take pride in everything that they do, and the food is always absolutely incredible. If you are not going on Monday nights to enjoy the locally caught oysters on special, you are missing out. Cheers to Don, Alex, and Jeff...you guys are the best!
Oh my word! What a restaurant! What an experience! My boyfriend surprised me and brought me all the way here for my birthday! He had been there before during a business trip and wanted to bring me back! I'm so glad he did! The food was OMGoodness!! We had a green bean hummus dip for an appetizer and he had thecatfish and grits and I had a white fish and mashed potatoes. I...cleaned...my...plate! The waitress was so nice (and helpful) and the atmosphere was immaculate. It helped celebrate my birthday in style! If you're ever in Wilmington, going here is a MUST!
Great atmosphere and service. Lunch selection was good. Only negative was too much salt in the Pinpoint burger. Unfortunately it killed the overall taste. I'll try again though.
Beef tartare was off the charts! Even the pimento cheese was worth getting excited about. This place offers carefully crafted, exciting new takes on classic, seasonal southern food. Located in a perfect downtown spot with decent parking nearby. Dinner for two with appetizers and beer/wine was $150 after tip, which is certainly steep for Wilmington. Given the quality of the food, the high price tag actually seemed reasonable.
Very lovely, octopus and shrimp wraps were amazing and my favorite. The pickled vegetables dazzled the taste buds. The entres were filling and well plated. My wife had the trigger fish and I had the catfish. Very pleased with the food and prices. Left full and happy.
