Get the yellow curry, you will not be disappointed. Unique menu, unique vibes, just an overall win. Love the decor and the service and atmosphere and most importantly the food! Well worth the long wait to get a table, can't wait to sit out in the garden when the weather gets warmer. This place is always packed, and for great reason.
The prices listed on the online menu are wrong. I ordered the scallop dinner which was $19.95, nope, $22.99..only a few scallops and mostly vegetables. Yum ,yum chicken $15? nope $18. This is way overpriced Asian food in my opinion. They do have several curry items to choose from which my wife likes. I really have no desire to go back. Go to Yosake downtown. Much better with reasonable prices. I honestly thought they had added take out gratuity for my bill being so high. 3 meals,1 soup, $74 bucks yeah...you got me..once!
First time dining at this resturant. My and family and I decided to try a new cuisine and I must confess this place was absolutely amazing. The portion sizes for lunch were more than we expected. The ambiance was absolutely breath taking and all the servers were willing to help even if you weren't there guest they were serving. Although we had an great experience. I gave it a 4 star due to our server not being attentive to our needs due to possibly having too many tables which was understandable but at times I felt like when he spoke to us like he really didn't want to serve us. He didn't do anything disrespectful I just always felt like we weren't important at times. He interacted well with our kids but there was a disconnect. Other than that we will be back. Please give this place a try it's great for couples and families. My husband enjoyed the green curry.
This was my third visit to Wilmington, but my first time at Indochine. This restaurant has been on our radar for awhile. Waited 45 minutes for our table, as expected, and waited just as long for our food. The food was delicious, except for mango sticky rice (which was the worst I've ever had.) Waitress, Sandi, was inattentive and never brought two of the items we ordered. Ran off as soon as she dropped stuff off. When she finally checked back in with us, we were about to ask for dessert when she asked if she could bring the check. For the amount of money we dropped, not sure if the experience was worth it. I've bought my daughter gift cards for here at Christmas for the past two years because she lives in Wilmington, but after the poor service and long wait, I think my money will be better spent somewhere else. If I have to wait almost an hour for a table, I expect my order to be correct and to not feel rushed.
The food was really excellent. We had a party of over 20 and must have ordered everything on the menu. It was all delicious. Appetizers & main course's all were so tasty. Huge portions. Each serving could easily serve two. Decor was exactly what you would expect from an Asian Fusion restaurant. Our two servers were superior! They were the best. Our only complaint: parking. The place was packed.. Next to impossible to find a space. But not a surprise since the food was so fantastic and the prices were very reasonable.
