I have shopped at Gabe's a few times. It is extremely cheap. So if you're a bargain shopper it's great. You do have to be careful with what you buy, sometimes products will be open or damaged. So if you shop here have the mind set that you're on for a hunt. You want something cheap, but you want it to last. They sell beauty products, clothes, shoes, and random house appliances.The last few times I've been in there I've noticed the manager just putting stuff away even if there's a line and there's only one person running the register. That is a bit odd to me, I am a manager myself and you always help your employees when there's a line. Especially if you're doing something you can do at a slower time. I also heard the manager respond rudely to Stacy. I was checking out, and towards the end of my transaction Stacy asked to speak to the manager and she said what? And Stacy said just a moment let me finish with this customer. And the manager was like I'm not going to wait and walked off. I left after that, if the manager had helped with the line and responded nicer to the employee I would have given them 4 stars instead of three. I understand you're busy but rudeness does not take you far.
I was able to find a large selection of clothes in my size for really great prices, after coming away without hardly anything from Clothes Mentor and Marshalls. My husband was also able to find some things he liked that fit. The staff were all friendly and approachable. Definitely will go there first next time.
