Very very disappointed in this service. I had my information in for my taxes 2 months early. The normal CPA that took care of my information had a family emergency and I was never notified. I called and left messages several times with no response. Finally after calling 30-some odd times, the day before they were due, I got a hold of the front desk personnel, where I was finally informed of what was going on. My taxes had not even been looked at. Our cases were not distributed to the other tax professionals in the business, or told in advance so we could make other arrangements-they were just forgotten. I was then told I would have to file an extension with an estimate of my payment due. I barely got an "I'm sorry" from anyone in the office, and in fact, was ridiculed for being upset on the way things were handled. I was still charged the same fee as if they were done on time. Very poor customer service, and VERY poor business management. I would never trust them with any of my financial information ever again.
Once again a wonderful stress free experience. Always asking about and remembering my children's envolements, that personal touch that has been lost within the new age. 8 yrs and counting. Thank you Cauleys Accounting for what you do. Keep it. Ill see you next week for payroll! -Jordan Mintz
I have never had such an awful experience with a tax preparation service. We submitted all necessary paperwork to Cauley's a full month and half in advance of the filing deadline. The employee whom was handling our tax information had a family emergency and we received no communication from anyone at the accounting firm as to the status of our return. After reaching out multiple times to the CPA assigned to handle our return with no response we contacted the management at Cauley's. We received only an "I'm sorry" response from the management. There was no plan of action, no promise of getting our return completed on time and no attempt to make things right. 3 days prior to the tax deadline we have been left to totally regroup with our return. After a full month and a week only a 1099 had been completed and they had the audacity to request payment of the 25.00 fee for that. Complete lack of communication, managerial competence and principal is what you'll receive here.
Professionalism at it's finest. Always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend this business.
