Bus station is tiny...No parking unless u want to pay 5.00...Staff are very rude n unknowledgable...They should bulldoze this craphole n place a self serving kiosk...You wud have better results...
The waiting room is filthy and roach infested. The young man who worked the night shift was rude to other customers.
I'm not sure where to begin. The bathroom is filthy. the faucet only does cold water and it only trickles out. The waiting area is right out of a depressing movie. The staff behind the counter was unhelpful. They gave me conflicting information about my bus. First it was canceled and then another said it was just delayed. Waited 2 hours like this. This was my first experience with Greyhound I am stunned a well-known service allows stations like this. Will never ride Greyhound if I can avoid it.
We took our second trip to NYC from Wilmington Bus Station. There are seats but the women's rest room and a vending machine were out of order. People waited in line for 10 minutes during a "shift change." Tickets were bought online. The problem is that when the bus pulls up, everybody goes outside. We waited in line but watched at least two people just buck the line. The problem is that more tickets are sold than available seats. We were able to get seats but about eight people were stranded. One couple was taking their son to a broadway show for their birthday. The lack of a process is unacceptable. The price is the best part as the seats are cheap. However, our driver was very angry and rude to bus riders. I believer her name is "Operator Wells." She scolded passengers and had a bad attitude toward her riders. Overall, you can't beat the price and convenience. Just make sure you're outside early to have a chance to get a seat.
My cousin was visiting and bought tickets for her and her kids to go to NYC. They didn't even have seats for them all!! You're going to ask someone to stand for four hours?! And the station doesn't even open until 7:30 but you have buses going in and out before that? Get your stuff together Greyhound!
